What documents will I receive prior to departure?
A dossier detailing climate, recommended clothing, visas etc. will be forwarded to the participants or tour operator / travel agent after the confirmation of the reservation. It is absolutely essential that each participant received a copy of the dossier before leaving on safari.

    Will itineraries be kept to?
Please note that the itineraries will depend on local conditions. Participants should be aware that travelling in Africa is sometimes unpredictable.

What are the general weather conditions like?
The winter nights in southern Africa (May to September) are very cold with pleasant days. A warm set of clothing and a warm sleeping bag is essential for this time of the year on camping safaris.

What luggage may I take on safari with me?.
Luggage is limited to 12kg plus 1 sleeping bag plus 1 camera bag per person. Any luggage in excess of 12kg or large suitcases will not be loaded onto the vehicle. The maximum suitcase size allowed is 55cm x 20cm. We recommend the use of a barrel bag. We strongly advise all participants to take their sleeping bag and toiletries with them on board the aircraft. Passengers who have a connecting flight should collect their luggage at each airport to avoid the risk of luggage loss whilst in transit

What travel documents will I require?
You will require a valid passport. Please check with us, your local consultant or travel agent as to visa, passport and health requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport, visas and vaccination certificates are all in order before departure. We cannot be held liable for any passenger being refused entry into a country for any reason whatsoever.

    May I smoke on tour?
For the comfort and safety of our participants we have a no smoking policy in all our vehicles and inside the tents.
