Operator: Kayak Africa

Kayak Africa is an adventure tourism company specialising in sea kayak and scuba diving safaris to the lakes and rivers of Africa, and the islands of the Indian Ocean.
The Lake Malawi National Park is the site of Kayak Africa's Mumbo Island and Domwe Island wilderness camps, which form the backbone of their kayak and scuba safaris on the lake.
In addition to their "all year round" safaris on Lake Malawi, they also run fully-fledged sea kayak expeditions to more remote locations. Past destinations include Pemba Island, Zanzibar, Les Isles Mitsio and the Masoala Peninsula in Madagascar; and the Archipelago Das Quirimbas in northern Mozambique.
The natural beauty of these places and their suitability for the pursuits of sea kayaking, camping and outdoor activity; together with Kayak Africa's philosophy of providing a background infrastructure in terms of comfort requirements, meals and equipment, constitute the formula for their success.
As well as the destinations and trips detailed herein, please note that they are open to other suggestions. All that is required is sufficient notice.
Kayak Africa is a small company, which commenced operation in 1994. They believe in thorough preparation and quality equipment, and are guided by the principles of adventure, safety and conservation.
