Day 1: Johannesburg
Depart Johannesburg with Air Malawi early morning to arrive at Club Makokola on the lakeshore late morning. Kayak Africa will meet you at 13h40 at Club Makokola for the transfer to Cape Maclear. Lunch will be provided at base camp and the three night Island Castaway will commence. After a familiarisation and safety briefing on the beach, hit the water for the paddle to the first Island Camp (takes one to two hours). Spend one night in the Island Camp.

Day 2 & 3: Island Camp
Paddle across to the other Island Camp where you will spend the next two nights.

Day 4: Club Makokola
Paddle or boat ride back to the mainland, followed by the transfer back to Club Makokola.

Day 5: Johannesburg
Early morning departure with Air Malawi to arrive in Johannesburg around midday.
