High up in the mountains of southern Africa is the unique Kingdom of Lesotho (the Nepal of southern Africa), a country a little larger than Belgium, that provides spectacular scenery and offers a chance to enjoy Africa's majestic beauty, the simplicity of a mountain people and a gentle way of life. Your tour of the interior offers an opportunity to view and experience this way of life, where oxen still plough the land and wheat harvesting is to this day, done by hand. Donkeys and horses are still the main form of transport in the Maluti Mountains.

Lighting is a generator at some of the overnight stops, they go off at 22h00. Please bring torches.
