    All prices and quotes are subject to alteration. Our scheduled itineraries are based on current knowledge regarding feasibility. From time to time, however, they have to be changed due to weather conditions or by government decree, factors which are totally out of our control. In such cases we will endeavour to make a new plan as close to our original as is possible.

    Do I require insurance?
    Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they are covered by insurance; relative medical costs and personal accident prior to departure from their country domicile cover them. Insurance application forms are offered to all our clients.


    What kind of health precautions do I require?
    Malaria is prevalent in Southern Africa so that prior to departure we urge you to consult your physician as to appropriate anti-malaria tablets.
    Water is perfectly safe for drinking throughout our safaris.


    What Travel documents do I require?
    The onus is upon the client and/or the Travel agent to ensure that Passports, Visa's, re-entry Visa's and Health documents, as required, are valid prior to the commencement of your safaris. Botswana Pula can be purchased in Maun at the Bureau de change. This is used as pocket money on your safari for the purchase of drinks and/or curios, clothing.


    What are the booking and cancellation procedures?
    A 20% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of a booking. Final payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Any person making a booking for himself, or on behalf of other persons, will by the making of such a booking, assume personal liability for all cost involved.

    If a booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks prior to departure, the company retains the full deposit, and in addition a cancellation fee will be made as follows.

    Less than 35 days notice - 40% of total tour cost
    Less than 28 days notice - 60% of total tour cost
    Less than 14 days notice - 80% of total tour cost

    We regret that we can make no exception to the above charges, and therefore strongly recommended that insurance be taken out to cover cancellation and/or curtailment charges.

    In the event of the company cancelling a safari, which it shall be entitled to do at any time before the scheduled departure date, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded to him.


    What kind of accommodation and facilities are there?
    Our safaris are run on the basis of providing maximum comfort possible. We have introduced a variety of choices in regard to our tented accommodation we offer. Our standard scheduled safaris are equipped with comfortable bow tents, which are insect proof and well ventilated. Mess tent are erected for meals and bedding is supplied to include stretchers, mattresses and duvets. Introduction of our wilderness tent with large veranda is a semi-upgrade option for private groups. Shower toilet cubicles with dressing room facilities are provided for these safaris. Finally our canvas cabins are used on luxury wilderness safaris. These are very large meru style tents with en suite facilities. All equipment is of the highest quality and we provide refrigerators for all groups. Our bush chefs provide a variety of delicious well-balanced meals.

    What do I need to bring?
    The clothes you pack should be light rugged items of the jeans/slacks verity; shorts cool tops and comfortable flat shoes. Depending on the time of year, anoraks or warm sweater recommended, and a tracksuit in which to sleep, as evenings can be deceptively cold .You will need suitable lotion for protection against sunburn, insect repellent, cloth type hat, sunglasses, binoculars, torch with spare batteries, toiletries, towel and wash cloth. For the best resulting wildlife photography the use of telephoto lens, (Minimum 200mm) is recommended. A zoom lens can be very useful. It is wise to bring an extra camera film and batteries. (A checklist will be faxed on request).
