This safari is a 7-day hike from Cape Town all the way to the most southwestern tip of the African continent. This tour is for all the adventurous and energetic travelers. Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to become accustomed to the Mother City. Major attractions include Greenmarket Square, the Company Gardens, Robben Island and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Overnight at Saasveld Lodge
Day 2: Transfer to Orange Kloof Forest
After breakfast, you will be met by your local guides and carry out a short drive to the foot of Table Mountain where your adventure will begin, up Platteklip Gorge to the upper cable station. From here, make your way towards the coastal town of Hout Bay and arrive at your destination in the late afternoon. You will overnight in a picturesque, tented camp nestled in the ancient Afromontane forest of Orange Kloof. Overnight at Orange Kloof Tented Camp
Day 3: Head to Silvermine
Have breakfast in the morning and depart from the Disa River to pass through the Constantiaberg and Vlakkeberg with maginificent views over the Cape Peninsula. You will arrive at the camp in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your evening dinner. Overnight at Sivermine Tented Camp
Day 4: Drive to Kommetjie
After a heavy breakfast, make your way up Chapmans Peak, which offers magnificent views from Table Mountain to Cape Point, down to Noordhoek beach. The remainder of the day is spent walking along the beach with the fresh smell of the ocean sharpening your senses. Be on the lookout for Oystercatchers, Otters, as well as whales and dolphins. You head all the way to Kommetjie, where you will spend the night. Overnight at Slangkop Tented Camp
Day 5: En-route to Simonstown
From Kommetjie, you will your way to the Old Wireless Station and hike up Slankop via Grootkop and finally arrive at Signal School in the afternoon. Later head to the naval village of Simonstown and have an overnight at The Lord Nelson Inn
Day 6: Move to Cape Town
Drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and take a short walk to the ship wreck in the reserve. Later, drive to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. You will leave the reserve afterwards and visit the African Pinguin Colony at Boulders Beach. You will have lunch en-route and return to Cape Town via Fish Hoek, Glencairn, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. On your way to Cape Town, have a stop over at the Cape’s oldest wine estate, Groot Constantia, to enjoy a wine tasting. Overnight at Saasveld Lodge
Day 7: Reserved for departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your departure flight.
