Depart on a 5 hour journey to Kruger National Park travelling via Mpumalanga, an area that includes the Drakensberg escarpment with majestic mountains, trout streams; historic interest (Pilgrim's Rest) walks, landscapes; breathtaking sights and waterfalls e.g. God's window; the spectacular Blyde River Canyon.
Kruger National Park - The animals you may see include the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino), plus 137 species of mammal, 112 species of reptile, 33 of amphibian and 227 of butterfly. There have been 493 species of birds recorded in the Park. The most common animals to be found in these areas are impala, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, giraffe, waterbuck, warthog, hippo, sable antelope, reedbuck, tsessebe, eland and the less common, the wild dog.
