Johannesburg – Private Game Reserve:
Upon arrival in Johannesburg International Airport you will be met and transferred to a luxury lodge in a malaria free area.
Transfer options to the Pilanesberg or Waterberg and Madikwe Game Reserves.
Check into accommodation to be reserved in the Pilanesberg or Waterberg or Madikwe Game Reserve.
These reserves have spectacular scenery and rich vegetation comprising bushveld plains, surrounded by wooded hillsides and unspoilt ravines that are haven to the Big Five as well as a large variety of other wildlife. Not only is it MALARIA FREE, but it has a moderate climate and is in close proximity to Gauteng (Johannesburg – 2.5 hours).
Activities include early morning and late afternoon game drives in open game vehicles in Big Five territory and guided nature walks on the reserve. The excellent game viewing experience can be complemented by other activities such as star gazing, bird-watching, a visit to the Pedi cultural village and Eugene Marais museum, horse riding, moonlit boma dinners, picnic lunches at a nearby waterfall and bush sundowners. Pamper yourself with special beauty treatments or massages at our health/beauty centre or visit our interesting curio shop. Scenic helicopter flights with our on site helicopter can be arranged including breakfast trips to the majestic Hangklip Mountain which is an experience beyond comparison.
