| Description: Sediba offers exclusivity, style and luxury against a backdrop of wild Africa in all her splendour, situated in the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, which is a malaria free area. The lodge is only a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg. A world of adventure awaits guests on game drives and bush walks, from land rovers or in private hides. Guided by experienced, knowledgeable rangers, guests can view big game, such as elephant, lion and rhino or relish more intimate encounters with other fauna and flora.
Welgevonden is very pro-conservation and strict rules have been drawn up to preserve and minimise impact on the natural environment for future generations. Major game species have been introduced into the reserve since 1994. Within Welgevonden, 270 bird species have been recorded. For those who love trees or simply enjoy scenery, Welgevonden's magical landscape has much to offer.
Letlapala - The Place of the Sun is aptly named: situated on one of the highest points of the reserve, it basks in both sunrise and sunset and has spectacular views over the valleys. The more intimate of the two lodges, Letlapala has four suites and one exclusive suite, all designed to blend into the environment while providing every comfort.
Letlapa Rock Lodge is situated in a valley with a perennial stream running through it. The lodge is linked by boardwalks and wheel-chair friendly paths. Letlapa has three suites and two exclusive suites, including one suite that has been specially prepared to accommodate disabled guests.
