| Description: Entabeni Game Reserve is situated in the Waterberg, Northern Province and is malaria free. The reserve has spectacular scenery and rich vegetation comprising bushveld plains, surrounded by wooded hillsides and unspoilt ravines that are haven to the Big Five as well as a large variety of other wildlife. The reserve offers 4 splendid situated camps, set on two escarpments in a series of awesome landscapes.
Kingfisher Lodge Set on the banks of Lake Entabeni, Kingfisher Lodge is the most exclusive and luxurious of all the lodges, offering all sorts of personalised service, such as an executive chef, waiting staff and an experienced game ranger. With large wooden decks overlooking the lake and Entabeni Mountain and spacious lounge/dining room, which opens onto a wooden deck and offers guests the opportunity of enjoying the views. The sparkling pool, set in lush garden surroundings, is an ideal setting to relax. Pamper yourself with special beauty treatments or massages at the health/beauty centre or visit the interesting curio shop.
Lakeside Lodge Extending from Entabeni's spectacular Hanglip in the east, the Waterberg mountain range stretches over 150kms. Waterberg is one of South Africa's last great wildernesses, and one of its major advantages is a Malaria-Free Environment. Lakeside Lodge provides a memorable blend of luxury in the wilderness.
Ravineside Lodge Under the extending shadow of Entabeni rock you will find open grasslands surrounded by majestic mountains, natural rock formations and verdant bush. There is an abundance of waterfalls, springs, crystal clear mountain pools and streams. Wildside Camp

Earthsong Lodge Earthsong Lodge can be discovered amidst the wetlands, plains and the Waterber's most famous mountains. All exclusive to Earthsong Lodge, is its very own wellness/beauty centre, offering a variety of treatments ranging from facials, manicures and pedicures to full body massages. A reading room up in the loft of the lodge and a wine cellar serving as an exquisite ventue for wine tasting is available.
Activities include early morning and late afternoon game drives in open game vehicles in Big Five territory and guided nature walks on the reserve.

Wildside Camp Stay close to nature in luxury tents on wooden decks with uniquely painted en suite bathrooms or in intimate en suite cottages.
Ravineside Each lodge has 3 or 4 luxury en suite bedrooms with an African ethnic theme. A private open plan lounge and a bar area extends to the open sundecks. From here the guests can indulge in bird and game watching and experience the beauty of the ravine with the rippling sound of water far down in the valley. Ravenside has it own pool.
Eagles Nest The exclusive Eagle’s Nest with four en-suite bedrooms nestles high on a hill overlooking Entabeni Lake and mountain. This luxury wooden and stone lodge built on stilts provides a perfect setting with spectacular bird’s eye views. A spacious, elegantly decorated private lounge and dining area with fireplace leads on to a unique rock-face boma and sun deck. Eagle’s Nest offers personalised service, tranquillity and privacy.
Earthsong Lodge Lodges are thatch-roofed and the en-suite rooms are complemented with spectacular mountain views, fireplaces and private sun decks. A honeymoon suite with a Jacuzzi bath as well as a room specially structured for the disabled guest has been designed at Earthsong Lodge for Maximum comfort and luxury. Earthsong Lodge has its own swimming pool.

Tips and Hints:The summer (September to April) temperatures vary from 15 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius. Winter (May to August) temperatures from -6 to 25 degrees Celsius. Mean average rainfall is 606mm, but the maximum recorded in the last 20 years is 1200mm (2000/2001 summer). Last year (2002/2003 summer) we had about 420mm.
Activities on the reserve include game drives with professional rangers in Big five territory, guided walks and horseback safaris. Visit our Pedi Cultural Village, Eugene Marais museum and curio shops or pamper yourself at our health/beauty centre. Scenic helicopter flights can be arranged including breakfast on Hanglip mountain which is an experience "beyond comparison".
