| Description: Pungwe Bush Camp is situated in the southern portion of the Manyeleti Game Reserve, along the Pungwe River course and is known for its exclusivity and rustic ambience. Manyeleti Game Reserve is situated in the wildlife rich region of the Limpopo Province Lowveld, which forms part of the world-renowned greater Kruger National Park and hosts a similar variety of wildlife, including the Big Five.The birdlife is also prolific, with over 300 recorded species.
Pungwe pride themselves on their "Home Cuisine", with certain meals still prepared on open fires. All refreshments are available in the thatched lounge/dining area. Walking is the most emphasised activity. To walk through the bushveld in the company of an experienced, armed safari guide is to experience the essence of Africa. Game drives in an open Land Rover are a standard feature and are conducted both during the day and at night using a spotlight. The camp houses a maximum of eight guests in uniquely constructed thatched and canvas units that are positioned to enhance this great bush experience.
