| Description: Adjacent to the Greater Kruger National Park lies 11 500 hectares of pristine African bushveld, which is Thornybush Game Reserve. With an abundance of bird and mammal species including the 'Big 5', it is also home to five exclusive lodges. Diverse accommodation caters for most guest needs from rustic understated comfort to luxury of the finest order. All lodges have sparkling swimming pools and offer exciting dawn and dusk safaris from open landrovers with fully qualified rangers and trackers, and bush walks for the more adventurous. An African safari can be a life-changing experience.
Tastefully decorated in warm earthy tones and indigenous woods, n'Kaya combines luxury with natural simplicity. N'Kaya has 4 suites and caters for up to 8 guests.
N'Kaya pan, the camps own waterhole within sight of the lounge and bar, attracts many species of game, as well as prolific bird life.
Brunch at n'Kaya is served on a polished wooden table on the North-facing verandah flooded with early-morning sunshine. It gets the day off to a glorious start, and you may find yourself lingering over a second or third cup of coffee while watching game drinking at the nearby waterhole.
N'Kaya is particularly lovely on cold winter nights when guests gather round the huge open-hearth fireplace in the middle of the lounge and trade stories of game sightings over brandy and Hanepoot.
You can expect top-quality cuisine and exceptional service from you ranger, hostess and the staff of this charming lodge. A fully equipped conference room, ideal for small breakaway conferences or think-tanks is also available.
