N'Kaya is particularly lovely on cold winter nights when guests gather round the huge open-hearth fireplace in the middle of the lounge and trade stories of game sightings over brandy and Hanepoot.

Four thatched suites are built around the edge of a clearing at a considerable distance from one another to ensure guests have total privacy. Shaded by tall trees, they look out over the camp's superb pool and the Drakensberg mountains beyond.

Children:
Only children over the age of 12 are allowed and there is no rate concession for them.

Air Charter:
Thornybush Game Reserve has two landing strips on the reserve, the bigger of the two is a 1,2km tarred runway and is able to accommodate up to a 16-seater aircraft. Road and Air transfer rates available on request.
