Ngala Tented Safari Camp lies on 14,700 hectares of exclusive game-rich Kruger National Park, Northern Province, South Africa and is situated on the banks of the great Timbavati River approximately 3km due west of Orpen Gate.

Ngala Tented Safari Camp’s classic safari guest area overlooks the riverbed – the ambience is one of early safari journeys to Africa with antiques, lots of books, comfortable leather chairs and crystal decanters. Its facilities include a chic “early settler” boma for long, lazy dinners served by butlers. An intimate hide, overlooking a waterhole, offers guests an opportunity to photograph game at close quarters and the swimming pool, which is surrounded by lawn, is an ideal spot to relax.

Twice daily game drives in open Land Rovers and nature walks on the reserve are included in the rate. The excellent game viewing experience is complimented by other activities such as stargazing, bird-watching and moonlit bush dinners and bush sundowners (weather permitting) at no extra charge to the guest.

Six deluxe spacious tents set amongst trees with separate showers, baths, twin hand basins, separate w.c, extra length twin beds convertible to double beds, personal bars, overhead fans, electric blankets for winter and intimate wooden decks.

Rates Include:
Accommodation, three meals daily, teas and coffees, two game drives daily, including refreshments, nature walk, 14% VAT, Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance and laundry service.

Rates Exclude:
Telephone calls, curio shop purchases, bar account including personal bar, transfers to and from the lodge, 1% Tourism Levy charged per person rate per night,
Entrance Fees and/or conservation fees.

No single supplement is charged for the first two single rooms on a booking, any additional rooms will have a 50% supplement levied.
