| Description: Even in ancient times, the great stone megaliths of Bongani formed a revered meeting place. The ochre paintings of bushmen are still found on the rock walls as testament of their presence and the bush still stirs and parts in deference to the regal passage of lion, rhino, elephant, leopard and zebra. The lodge also has a superbly appointed curio shop and gallery. A fully equipped conference centre seating up to 60 people is strategically situated behind the reception area far away from the Guest accommodation. Fascinating visits to the community to share stories, traditional beer and have the medicine-man Sangoma "throw the bones" are favourite guest excursions along with guided walkds and game drives through the reserve and into the adjoining Kruger National Park, as well as bush dinners and visits to the bushman paintings.
