World renowned as one of Africa’s finest game lodges, Londolozi was the first game reserve in the world to be accorded Relais et Chateaux status, reinforcing its commitment to luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and exceptional service.It is situated on the Sand River at the very heart of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. This reserve in turn forms part of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a vast and growing area, currently covering 6 million acres and incorporating the famous Kruger National Park. This rich wild wonderland assures exceptional game drives and a true wilderness experience.Breeding herds of elephant and buffalo roam throughout the Londolozi area ,while white rhino and lion concentrations are amongst the highest recorded on the African continent.However, it is the truly remarkable relationship which has developed over three decades between wild free ranging leopards and ranger trackers which makes Londolozi world famous. There is no disputing that viewing the leopards of Londolozi is one of life’s truly treasured experiences.

Founders Camp Five air-conditioned chalets and one suite are linked by a series of meandering pathways where it is not unusual to come across a shy bushbuck grazing on the pathside shrubs. Blending with the tree canopy, thatched split-level dining and viewing decks are suspended above a quiet bywater of the river.

Pioneer Camp’s Six suites, all with touches of sophistication and romance. Air-conditioning,  private thatched sala, traditional open kitchen for cosy kitchen-to-dining experiences, and a lap pool on the river’s edge. (No children under 16 years permitted.)

Tree Camp: Six suites, the camp affords elevated views of the wild Bushveld beyond and lies along the sleek Sand River, where dawn is met by the echoing call of the fish eagle and the misty snort of hippopotami.
Each luxurious, air-conditioned suite boasts its own cascading plunge pool and a private sala, an intimate covered deck in the treetops, thick with huge African cushions. (No children under 16 years permitted.)

Varty Camp (Was known as Bateleur Camp): Eight chalets and two suites, each with private verandah and plunge pool, display Londolozi’s award-winning style, whilst the original rondawel huts at the heart of the camp now house the Interpretive Centre. This comprises an outstanding wine cellar and tasting room, a retrospective bedroom, library and presentation room where specialists and rangers on personal research projects and the current give talks, fascinating issues facing conservation.

Private Granite Suites: With just three suites and tucked away in its own private corner of the beautiful Londolozi property on a dry riverbed, lined with tangled vines and flowering plants.
This is ideally suited to parties who wish to reserve a camp for their exclusive use and have days perfectly designed around their party’s needs. (No children under 16 years permitted.)

Varty Camp (2 Suites, 8 Chalets) (Formerly Bateleur Camp) With private plunge pools and decks with river views.

Founders Camp (5 Chalets) Charming and intimate, all with private verandas affording magical views of the river and lush bush. En suite bathrooms with glass walls offer amazing views of the wilderness.

Rates Include:
Accommodation, three meals daily, teas & coffees, two game drives daily in open land rovers including refreshments, walking safaris (1 hour) accompanied by experienced trackers (subject to availability), emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, 14%Vat.

Rates Exclude:
Telephone calls, curio shop purchases, gratuities, transfers to and from lodge, adventures at Phinda private game reserve, Champagne, cognacs, cellar wines, cigars and cigarettes, bar account (including Personal bars), Conservancy or park entrance fees (where applicable), 1% Tourism levy charged per person rate per night.

Single supplement will be waived for a stay of four nights or longer.

Pricing structure for children

No children under 16 years at Pioneer/Tree Camp and Private Granite Suites 

Infants 0 - 2 Years:  Stay free of charge in a cot

Children 3 - 5 Years, sharing with adults: Charged 25% of adult rate (includes meals)

Children 6 - 11 Years, sharing with adults: Charged 50% of adult rate (includes meals and game drives)

Children 12 years and older sharing with adults: Charged full adult rate (includes meals and game drives) A maximum of two children may share with two adults.

Children 5 years and younger cannot participate in the regular game drives. Child minders can be booked at the time of check-in, and activities such as videos, coloring-in books etc. are available. Shortened game drives (free of charge) can be arranged, subject to availability of land rover and Rangers. These services cannot be pre-booked.
