| Tips and Hints: What to take: Since malaria is endemic to the Mpumalanga Region where the Tinga Private Game Lodge is situated, it is essential to ensure that anti-malarial precautions are taken throughout the year when visiting. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Sun block, hats, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, camera and film, video camera, binoculars, swimming costume and neutral coloured clothing, white is not recommended!
Winter Months: (May - September: 4 - 23 C/ 38F - 73F) Very warm insulated parkas or bush jackets for night safaris Scarves to keep the neck warm Light sweaters for midday use Warm trousers or jeans for everyday wear
Summer Months: (October - Apr: 16C - 30C / 60F - 101F) Cool cotton clothing, T-Shirts and shirts (preferably in neutral colours) Shorts for everyday wear Jeans or Trousers for everyday use Swimwear
Arrival/Departure: Suggested arrival time is from 12:00 - 14:00 for the convenience of arriving guests. Late arrival/departure times can be arranged at Tinga Private Game Lodge subject to confirmation with the lodge. Suites should be vacated by 11:00
