Featuring only eight large rooms and the exclusive 2 bed-roomed "Nare Suite" - all built with shaggy thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows - to create a true safari atmosphere, inviting you to enjoy your bush surroundings. The generous Main Lodge consists of a spacious lounge and open plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the bush. Enjoy fire cooked meals in our enclosed boma, or under the stars at a bush barbeque. Lounge at the pool or enjoy bird watching from the hammock on the banks of the Groot Marico River. Indulge yourself in your surroundings. Each room has a hand made ceramic fireplace surrounded by a stone chimney. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking past to drink.

Accommodation:
There are only eight double rooms at hits “must see” destination. Each room has a private deck overlooking a running stream where the animals come to drink. The bedrooms are a charming mixture of local stone and huge tented windows, with a cool thatch roof to give that special African Bush feeling. Each en-suite bathroom has an enormous “rock” bath and outside shower. Children are welcome to share with their parents, comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers in their rooms.

Nare Suite
An exciting addition to Jaci’s Safari experience – an exclusive bush breakaway – a private 2 bedroom thatch and canvas cottage with en-suite bathrooms and outdoor ‘safari showers”, a small equipped kitchen and living area finish this exceptional retreat, giving it a true bush home feeling. A wooden viewing deck encompasses a rock pool with an outstanding view over an active game water hole. Includes private game drive vehicle and guide, suite attendant.

Main Lodge
Situated at an ideal spot overlooking an established and well-used waterhole, under a grove of Tambotie trees, on the edge on the Marico River. The main complex is different – open plan – curved around a huge anthill, under shady trees overlooking the waterhole. Meals come from an ultra modern kitchen, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the “boma” under the stars, or out in the bush or a barbeque “braai”, surrounded by nature. Upstairs is the bar and quiet reading space. There is also a well-stocked ethnic craft shop.

Tree Lodge
Jaci’s Tree Lodge opened with eight Tree Houses each encompassing a giant Tambotie or Leadwood Tree. Each Tree House is constructed amongst the Riverine forest on stilts up to 4 metres from the ground. In these spacious Tree Houses built utilising a combination of rosewood, thatch and stacking doors, the forest surrounds are invited in, to compliment your stay with us. An open plan, en-suite bathroom with an enormous stone bath an outdoor Jungle shower allow you to enjoy your forest surrounds. Relax on the deck in front of your room, in the main lodge or wander to the forest pool to cool off. Raised wooden walkways, suspended in the forest canopy lining the banks of the Marico River, will connect with the extraordinary main lodge and its generous facilities.

Children aged 7 years and under are specially accommodated with their own game activity. Unfortunately children are not allowed into the boma for the evening meal, however, a separate, earlier meal is provided and child minders can be arranged.

Early morning and evening game drives and/or walks are the highlight of your stay.

Lounge around the pool, paddle your own canoe, lie in a hammock, sip an ice cold drink and watch the birds, butterflies and animals.
