| Description: Djuma Game Reserve, part of the Kruger National Park in South Africa
, offers guests the choice of two luxury safari lodges: from the magnificent Bush Lodge, as well as the unique Vuyatela.
Djuma, named from the Shangaan word meaning "roar of the lion" is renowned for the many predators that roam the area, as well as the abundance of general game and bird-life. Djuma is located in the prestigious Sabi Sand Game Reserve. There are no fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger Park, thus Djuma is incorporated into the vast Kruger Park ecosystem. The Djuma Game Reserve has access to 10,000 hectares (22,000 acres) of African savannah.
Vuyatela Lodge or "come and visit again" in old Shangaan, is an exclusive lodge that has broken the mould of traditional game lodges and is the pride of Djuma Game Reserve. All 8 suites include an air-conditioned lounge, large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with an outdoor shower. A deck and private plunge pool completes this sumptuous bush experience.
Bush Lodge nestles in a grove of Tamboti trees and overlooks 2 waterholes. The main lodge offers an outdoor boma or under cover dining, a lounge and 2 viewing decks, library, plunge pool and the Naledi Pub. The 8 luxury thatched bedrooms are individual units all en-suite with overhead fans; air-conditioning and mosquito nets, individually situated in the indigenous gardens. The bathrooms have showers, hand basins and toilets.
