VEHICLES: All scheduled safaris utilize custom built 4x4 vehicles with pop top roof except for the 4 day Etosha Excursion and any combinations using this safari, where we use a minibus.
ACCOMMODATION: all safaris undertaken on a twin share basis. Should you be traveling alone we will ask you to share with another traveler of the same sex, should there be none then you will have a single tent and not have to share accommodation where provided. Families traveling together can share a tent if your child is younger than 10 years, older than this we will provide two tents. Whilst camping we provide 2 man dome tents which are easy to erect and dismantle, high density foam mattresses which are approx 4cm thick, small camping pillow, chairs, table, lighting, all cooking and eating utensils. Sleeping bags may be hired from the office on the morning of departure for N$10/night should you not have one of your own. Most camping sites do have showers and toilets, however your guide will advise you in advance on nights spent bush camping without facilities, for example the Okavango Delta and Spitzkoppe. For those with sensitive backs or would like additional comfort we recommend that you bring your own thermarest inflatable mattress which does not take up much additional space in your luggage, these must be brought from home as they are not available for hire and we do not provide additional mattresses on request.
PARTICPATION: Each scheduled safari is run on a full participation basis. You will be expected to help in all areas of the safari with guidance from your safari leader. This includes erecting and dismantling your tent, assisting with food preparation and washing dishes. Most camp chores are done on a rotational basis to ensure that each and every member of the expedition does there fair share. All food is purchased by the guide and meals are cooked by the guide.
MEALS: To give you an idea of what to expect
Breakfast: 3 varieties of cereal, yoghurt or bananas, toast with a choice of 3 toppings, tea/coffee

Emphasis is placed on variety and the use of fresh meat, fruit and vegetables where available.
