Itinerary:

Day 1
Arrive in Lilongwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Korean Garden lodge. Lunch and dinner will be in local restaurants in the city and is included in the price.
Overnight at the lodge on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast drive to Mua Mission where you will spend the morning meeting local artists renowned for their woodcarvings and visiting the fascinating cultural museum. After a picnic lunch you depart to Liwonde National Park.
Overnight at Mvuu Camp, all meals included.

Day 3 - 5
Art Safaris are for people with a keen interest in art and nature. There are 2 art sessions per day with plenty of opportunity to sketch, watch and relax in glorious surroundings. Liwonde is rich in flora and fauna and situated on the picturesque Shire River. The teeming bird life, wallowing hippos, playful elephants and basking crocodiles give you every chance for self-expression. Day game drives are included as well as 1 boat safari and 1 game drive into the Rhino Sanctuary. Further boat safaris or drives into the Rhino sanctuary and night drives are optional extras. Overnight at Mvuu Camp in en suite chalets.

Day 6 - 8
After leaving Mvuu, you have an hour's game drive back through the park then continue to Zomba. After a look around the town and very colourful market - you drive up towards the plateau and stay in the comfortable Zomba Forest Lodge.

Day 9 - 10
Your days are filled with plateau safaris, day trips to interesting areas like the tea plantations, Lake Chilwa, historic sites in Blantyre etc. The day activities will be tailored to the group's interest and decided on site.
Overnight at Colonial Lodge on a full board basis.

Day 11
Leaving Zomba you drive northwards and towards Lake Malawi. Here you stay at Island Tented Camp
Overnight at the lodge on a full board basis.

Day 12 & 13
Your days here are filled with visits to the on site aquarium, the surrounding villages and art classes overlooking the huge expanse of azure blue water. You will undertake one boat trip out on the lake in which fish eagles and fishermen in their dugouts keep watch for the best fishing waters. There is ample time to swim and relax in this ideal setting.
Full Board Basis

Day 14
With the lake behind you, you travel up and out of the Rift Valley onto the central Plateau, through Lilongwe to Dzalanyama Forest Reserve. This Brachystegia forest is home to some of Malawi's rarest bird species, giving the artists a different perspective and chance to capture some of Malawi's varied mountain and forest scenery. Waterfalls and streams form the perfect backdrop to your lessons.
Overnight at KuNgoni Chalets on a full board basis.

Day 15
After breakfast transfer you to the airport in time for your return flight.
